Our Story

The founder, Fatih Sen, was on a quest to produce a high quality gif for one of his side projects. However, he faced a frustrating search for tools that didn’t quite fit the bill—they weren’t user-friendly and lacked the options for optimizing the output. Determined to have full control over input parameters and output quality, he decided on building his own platform. And that’s how Merjek came to life!

We’re Just Getting Started

At the moment, we’ve decided to focus on YouTube videos as our main source of input and have many cool features in the works. For instance, we’re planning to expand our input sources to include platforms like Vimeo, Instagram Reels, and even your own images or video files. However, we really value your feedback as we’re just starting out. We don’t want to overwhelm you with tons of features right away; instead, we want to grow Merjek based on your feedback, making it bigger and better over time.
